What would you do with £66 million?

Post by Jockster »

Two ticket winners apparently http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35265269

I would:

Look after family/friends that deserve it;
Buy a ski chalet in Francais and something in warmer climes.
Maybe upgrade the car or at least have an extra for fun;
Tell the boss to away and f***;
Have a personal chef, gardener and masseur;
Remove all debt and build the "Jockster" (state of art) training facility at local club;
Stuart my own business--no idea what just yet.
Build useful things in poor places;
Buy a Maine Coon;
Adopt a few Syrians and convert them to Ulster rugby;
Some charity stuff- but I wouldn't want to talk about that >seeya

BTW-- Noel Edmonds dyes his beard as I'm young enough to be his son and mine is like Les Kiss'.

I'd travel for a few months, see some great places. Would get married ASAP also (I'm engaged but only starting to save for a wedding - ugh).

I'd also build a real nice house and buy a couple of nice cars. The usual stuff.

The very first thing I'd do, though, is go on a serious charge of drink.

You look like a cross between Rolf Harris and Gary Glitter? :shock:

Re: £66 million - how much do you think it would cost to buy UR outright, locks, stock and assorted barrels of stout?

Sadly I have not had an email telling me I am filthy rich, so all a bit redundant.

I had a serious charge of drink in anticipation, where can I go for a refund?

I'd probably give half of it to worthy local charities as £66M is way too may for one person. With the rest I'd:

I'd set up my family for life (I don't have a big family in fairness).
Tell work I won't be back.
Take Wee Girly on a dream trip to Florida.
Then trips to see family in New Zealand & Canada.
Buy a nice house, I don't need it to be flashy, just nice would do.
Probably buy a pub to run and get into property development.
I'd upgrade my current car and buy a flash one just because I can .
Mr WW can have his Aston Martin DB9.
And 6 border collie pups.

Probably about £3 again this week

As regards Ulster ,I would buy a colossal Back row player, get PJ a new pair of kicking boots and Keep Ruan on till He is 65.I would sort out free booze for all European games to try and get the atmosphere back to what It was like at Ravenhill in days gone by. I would myself lead a short but happy life of Drink,drugs, sex, and debauchery.
We dont need the English to win the European Cup

I got one in Spain last summer & of course you can't log in from abroad. When I got home, I had won £2.86. :roll:
