Never let it be said that Sarries don't have an eye to the main chance! Recognising all our grumbles about them, they don't half think innovatively.

I have a myriad of concerns about the direction education is travelling in....... then I think, I'm in my 60s and I'm leaving the country within a year. ...Feck it.

In that case they are either, extremly stupid, on the backhanders, or given orders not to act.Russ wrote:Oh no. With even more debt appeared the obvious answer. Maybe they'll get the Vunibollix Brothers Catering Company on the job and skim a few semolians off the dinner money, finance a marquee player for the parent company.Russ wrote:How are they financing a school?
It's the Sarriebastards way you know.

Saracens are fast monopolising young talent.
You will regularly encounter several parents of young children standing on touchlines in the south of England boasting of how their offspring has been spotted and asked to train with Saracens.
Its great for Saracens but creates problems.
1. Fuels the dillusions of parents and false hope, convinced that their little Timmy is the next Dan Carter.
2. Saracens run training camps and they cost a small fortune but parents are made to feel they have to send their kids there if they are to make the grade.
3.There is only 15 you can fit into a rugby team.
4. Half of them will invariably be foreign.
5.Saracens will make out they are supporting youth but make no mistake it's all about the money money money.
No decision they ever make will have the true welfare of the kids at heart.
That is professionalism for you I suppose.

A lot. Wholly or mostly funded by the tax payer. Similar to the voluntary grammars here?Russ wrote:How much tax payer money goes into a free school?
