Weddings in Belfast

Post by justinr73 »

With families from Lancashire and Tyrone, we're pleasing nobody by having our big day in Belfast next October.

Looks like we've settled on an iconic venue but where should I get my whistle from?

They're not but as Russ has alluded, Moss Bros are in Castle Lane.

You may get a better range up the Lisburn Road (Ludlow??).

Ah cheers - that Ludlow is just up the road from our flat. Didn't notice it in my hurry to try out Cafe Fish. Might have a look when I'm over for Clermont.

Suppose Moss Bros may be more convenient for the English contingent though.

Is it just for yourself or all attendees or the groom's party?

Went to Ludlow earlier this year to look at ones. Wasn't impressed. There's a place called Red Groomswear on Wellington Place. Its not the cheapest but the suits in the window look fantastic.

Hmmmm.

The way it's costing out at the moment I think we'll be hiring!

There'll probably be 4 or 5 of us getting kitted up.

Am currently awaiting a price from a band for the evening. They hit the dizzy heights of number 11 in 1992.....

I used Debonair this year for all my wedding suits and used them plenty before. Lindsay is excellent to deal with.

Now, I realise this is not your decision, but cost cutting, would lounge suits suffice? Assuming you and your party would have one kicking around (or at least an upgrade, could be used for future events until you eventually get around to shedding that temporary weight )
