Im going to create a new sport called RuGbAA, where Cafflicks, Pradistans and all in between can run after each other and bayte the dung out of other legally, and claim a ball is involved somewhere. The ball will be oval like rugby, although the scoring criteria will be closer to Gaelic football.

It'll essentially be Aussie Rules without the Aussies. They're banned.

There'll be no flegs beforehand and no recognised anfums, however before the game the players will all march around the field to the beat of "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.

Let me know who's interested and I'll set up a MySpace page.

The well flogged horse 'The GAA is promoting Oirish Culchar' no longer washes these days. It's an excuse they hide behind and in doing so they show themselves up for the dogmatic dinosaurs they are.
The GAA are all to aware of the political symbolism they use and IMO they do it to garner support from the sheep who are all too wiling to follow.

I despise FIFA but I think their banning of political symbols at Wendyball games has some sense behind it, even if it's been poorly executed.
The GAA is a sporting body and we al know Politics and Sport do not mix and politicos should never be allowed to exploit any game for their 'Cause'

It'll never catch on Hairy, the gobshites on this island, all arts and parts of this island, just love somebody to hate or look down on. Part of the reason I am determined not to die in the shitehole.

It's a bit like the English, I despise the Irish nation, just as I do the English, but many good spuds are found within both. Even more, much as the English love to portray themselves as renowned for fair play - bizarre when you think of the slaughter & plunder they brought to the world as rapists of sovereign nations - the Irish like to think that the world views them as lovable friendly people who like a drink - bizarre when you think of the slaughter of many innocents and the xenophobia shown to many peoples, be they gypos or those moronic Slavic peoples who are grand for picking spuds & the likes, but you wouldn't want to live beside one, we do love to feel great about ourselves.

All of the above is just a part of why I will be having my last Christmas in this fecked up craphole in a clatter of days.

There are so many more important factors Small, but we genuinely have discussed that. However, if you have familiarised yourself with my completed works here, you will know I am not unfamiliar with Spanish politics, I have already decided which socialists I will vote for.

As for hating each other, there are degrees in all things. I attended a meeting in a square in Sevilla in 2015 where a body of very decent folk, but utterly insane, were demonstrating for the liberation of Andalusia and morning a hero for the cause from the thirties. I chatted as best I could with several and liked them immensely but I don't see them achieving their goal anytime soon.

Of course there are issues, racism is fairly common, but happily it's considerably less of a shitehole than this horrible nasty little statelet.
