Good news for Irish horses. :thumleft:

I see Drumbo dog track has gone under. Nothing to do with Brexit but excellent news for Irish greyhounds :thumleft:

Imagine if there was a sporting event where a handful of humans were killed every year?

Imagine if more horses didn't die from injuries while walking around in fields than they do on the racetrack......no I can't imagine that either.

I've heard it all before Mervyn, and always from folk with limited or no knowledge of horses.

Ever heard of motorcycling lol?

I hate when people say the horses love it and wouldn't do it if they didn't. Is there any way of letting a horse know that if they break a leg they're getting shot? I'm pretty sure that might change their mind, if they even think that way to begin with.

There are some horses who either don't like it or get fed up doing it and the signs are obvious. If such horses are being forced through bullying to continue that would be wrong. I'll definitely concede that point.

Any horse who did that would deserve a lifetime of happiness. I'd ask JP McManus to allow him to move to Martinstown to live in luxury. :D

So I see May is now saying that those who don't vote for her deal are placing Brexit itself at risk. I assume she'll have to go if the vote goes against her.

I wouldn't run to the bookies on her going, she is like a rat trapped in a cage with other rats.
