Sainsburys (Ballymena) 106.9 but if you spend a mere £30 at the minute you get 10p off a litre so filled up today for a net 96.9 which was good. Did a shop there yesterday twice, just over £30 each time, so I have another voucher to fill up on when we get back from Dublin on Monday.

Currently at $54.86 per barrel. So why are petrol prices at the pump creeping up again? Discuss.

Probably because the oil companies bought their supplies forward at a higher price, if you pump crude then refine it and sell then you get 3 chances to alter your books to the company advantage

Passed the new M2 Service Station, at the top of the hill as you leave Belfast, today (Applegreen?)which is now open and to the best of my recollection petrol was 110.9 which aint bad for a motorway service station. The Greggs sign still had over it a banner saying Opening soon, or something similar. Further updates will follow.

Correction - it was 110.8 not 110.9 but I wont call in this week as I'll be spending £60 in Sainsburys tomorrow with a voucher that arrived in yesterdays post which will get me 12p off a litre. happy days.

Oh dear dear me. Its only been open 1 week and already Applegreen Service Station (heading out of Belfast at top of M2 - once it stops going uphill) is up 1p to 111.8 - and worse still the Greggs aint open yet. Might call in tomorrow on the way to work to lodge a complaint.

First the good news - called in at the M2 Applegreen today about 8.30am and Greggs is open but unfortunately a queue of about 8 folk so I still have yet to buy/eat a Greggs.
Secondly the bad news - petrol there is up another 1p to 113.8

At Applegreen it went up to 114.8 a week or two ago and has now crept up another penny to 115.8. That's up 5p since it opened :(

Do you not mean their petrol/derv mix? Good job for them it was not the other way around as diesels fed on petrol tend to do things like stick valves out through bonnets or just blow entire head of engine.

Tescos Knocknagoney and Tescos Ballymena both 114.9. Applegreen at 115.8. Think this is the first time Tescos cheaper than Applegreen.
