Brent Crude briefly below $50 a barrel - last that low back in January 2015. Useful link - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business/mark ... traday.stm

Buggar. Filled up @ Sainsburys on Tuesday (albeit with a 12p off a litre voucher) only to find petrol dropped at most garages by 2p yesterday. :(

Tesco and Sainsburys (both Ballymena) now at 109.9. Will try and remember to report on price @ Applegreen Services (on motorway north of Dublin) when I'm back on line next Tuesday.

Almost. For some reason I cant post comments on here from my Tesco Hudl but I can still post on Facebook, even late at night which is always a bit risky. Surely you have noticed my absence from here every single evening and weekend by now ?

Brent Crude now down to $40 a barrel so hopefully average petrol about £1 a litre by Xmas. Hopefully even cheaper in Donegal tonight.

The magic £1/l pump price equates to about $95/bbl WTI when climbing and about $75/bbl falling, WTI price is about $37 at the minute so they shouldn't be able to sustain the £1 price much into the new year.
