He'd be a waste of money, yes he is a good talent but there are plenty of young Irish players who would do alright (Leinster academy).

Sure he'd set a bad example to the youngsters in the team and would do more harm than good

Without doubt on his day Caucau is as good as anyone out there, but as already has been said at times he looks disinterested, solution... why not try and get him on a performance related pay deal, that why it is in his own interest to play well and not be dropped and if he doesn't play well he doesn't get paid.... and before someone says he would never agree to that, I know, but we can all dream

At Ulster the squad and work ethic is key, with everyone prepared to play for each other we should only be targetting players who will fit in to the Squad Caucau won't plus would have huge price tag and huge food bill.

I think this is why he didn't feature at last years world cup. He and other players were found to be smoking the stuff in the carpark after playing in an international game for Fiji.....Silly boys!

flip me...i hope this thread is just a bit of banter and not fans seriously considering the guy? do you really think he could become mr 'grease lightning' on a wet miserable winters night at ravers? highly, very highly doubt it. instead of wasting that amount of money on a contract to him, lets make that bid for Nick Evans (if even realistic) serious.

if every ulster fan gave £2...could we buy Evans contract?

maths anyone? rooster??

10000 fans at £2 each equals £20k need at least £35 per fan

If I gave up my bar pass, I could buy 2 shares.

As they say on TV - "it doesn't work like that".

When ever the cost of a top player is broken down like that ie 10k fans at £35 each, I wonder what the chance is that if a really big name player could be bought of fans actually scraping up the cash for his wages over and above their normal ticket, drink and food expenditure at Ravenhill ?
Not talking about a has been or fringe player but someone like Jerry Collins.
