I live in hope, however i think i'd prefer kockott on a 2-3 year deal than Pienaar on a 1 year deal to be honest

Unless I'm blind as well as gullible this is the first mention of a 1 year contract Don't care how good any player is, a one year contract licks balls, is not worth a damn and does sweet FA for building a team. In fact it sounds almost as crap as a 3 month mid season contract Ospreys type fiasco, no more than sticking plaster on our lack of a quality 9. What happens next -sign a close to pension age Peter Stringer in 2011? Hope for a miracle conversion of one of our other 9s? Light a candle & pray to our imaginary friend?

How long is Isaac going to Leinster for? Perhaps there is a plan unbeknownst to us all- once he pursues his RWC ambitions with Leinster for the season he'll come back here?!
A possible reason for 1 yr contracts being touted would be that Pienaar might need to play in the currie cup to go to the world cup, then, after the world cup Pienaar might sign an 'extension' if you like
