Fishing 2014-2020

Odd that we don't have a Fishing thread so here it is.
It's for all issues pertaining to Fishing.
Discuss and pontificate at your leisure folks.

Mr WW is partial to a bit of fishing when he gets the chance - he's big fly fishing fan.

Tried it a couple of times myself and got frustrated after about an hour and a half, so not for me. I don't even like cleaning out our fish tank never mind handling fish :puker: .

But agree, tight lines are better than threads

Shan - is it worth me bringing my fishing rod to Limerick on the train for the weekend of 9-12 May 2014?
Don't want to have to travel far out of town and don't want to have to pay anything for the right to fish.
Ideal spot would be on the river near a pub.
