Even Michael Hooper's? I fully supported his right to chin the diving Argue.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Did you know that 'Politics' is an anagram of 'colpitis', an illness that results in inflammation of the vagina.
Guess this explains why most MPs are irritating twats.

Now that is all kinds of wonderful. Near enough the perfect post, comprised as it is in both wisdom, fact and humour.
I'm awarding a fulsome 7 gulders.

Nolan tore Corbyn apart.
So much so he ran scared from the interview in which he was backing the atrocities in NI (but only from the terrorists) when he should have been saying all sides did wrong and nobody should be glorifying anything

Corbin is a 1970s throwback. Probably a thoroughly decent and well meaning chap, but still living in the days of CND, winter of discontent, Militant tendency the 'three day week' and the GLC.
If he wins the leadership, he will drag the Labour party back to the left and make them a political side show. If Labour want to win the next election they should elect Liz Kendall.

Andy Burnham and Mrs Balls are both lightweight and have track records of poor judgement and in Burnham's case Machiavellian slight of hand. There isn't a really decent candidate among them except for Corbyn and that's why I think he may well win. Looking forward Kendal is the least bad and most likely to make Labour electable. Corbyn will at least be a real leader of the opposition albeit a farther left than the rest of the country*, opposition.Once a Knight wrote:Really?Snipe Watson wrote:Corbin is a 1970s throwback. They should elect someone whose qualification for leadership of HM's Opposition is that she was Patricia Hodge's SPAD 5 years ago or whatever? Who has no constituency within either the CLP of PLP? Who has no authority within the party to reposition it?
Let's face it, of the candidates available Labour are choosing their Michael Howard or Ian Duncan Smith. They've already had their Hague.
At least Corbyn would be fun.
PS - you have to admire a man who wears and open neck shirt showing he still wears a vest in July.
*Baggy and Big Mervyn excepted of course.

Plenty on Jeremy but not one mention of the Chagos Islands. Incredible.
