spiff they both have bad technique and the problem is the Welsh don't play a flat back line they come from deep at pace with dummy runners in front distracting the cover defence thus the rush defence is ineffective and can result in players over shooting .

and the drift defence is light because of the dummy runners and the wings are faced with Two
on one advancing at pace

spiff even with the fact Bowe's form is nothing like that of Two years ago I would have him before either Earls or Zebo .

Brilliant Rum.

Usually I have to pay for such quality entertainment.

In case you are actually serious - Bowe wouldn't tackle me these days and I can barely get above walking pace. I'd still probably beat Dave Kearney over 20 metres though. :D

Wales V Ireland is a tough one to call. Not much between the sides methinks. Could go right down to the wire. Interesting to see how the Scots fare in England - have they really improved or are they due for a spanking?

Shan

I have admitted Bowe is not what he was and while I would never question Earls willingness to put his body on the line his timing and technique are suspect with Zebo the jury is out .

The fact is until the next patch of wings obtain some more Pro 12 experience Ireland will have a weak defensive back 3 .

Their ability in attack is good -- defence ??

Wales/Ireland is a tough one to call, will go for Ireland by less than 7, but will not be surprised if the Welsh edge it.

Big test for the Scots - another false dawn or are they actually getting better? England by 15 no BPs I reckon.

Better showing by Italy last time...not hard to be honest. Will not be able to use that tactic as heavily again assuming the French do video analysis. Italy to stay close for 50 mins, but France to pull away etc and get a BP win - France by 30.

Our old pal, Wayne Barnes, is in charge of affairs on Friday night.
He has form in this fixture.
My memory is it's not at all pro-Ireland.
What horrifies me is that he's still only 37. He could keep on doing this game for years.
