Re: All-Ireland bid to stage 2023 RWC
Ireland should consider a joint bid. If they use places like Killarney and Kilkenny as host locations they will be laughed at, again.

Re: All-Ireland bid to stage 2023 RWC
Joint bids are no longer being encouraged as is the old skool trick of say Wales playing games in Cardiff in an English WC etc.Dave wrote:Ireland should consider a joint bid. If they use places like Killarney and Kilkenny as host locations they will be laughed at, again.
Re: All-Ireland bid to stage 2023 RWC
Would be good in general to see who voted for who. Apparently the other African Unions voted for France over SARuss wrote:Id assume Ireland gotDave wrote:Nor NZ who Ireland bailed out the last timeRuss wrote:SoDave wrote:How did they think they could win with only 8 backhanders?

Wales and Scotland both voted for SA. England, USA and Canada backed Ireland - not sure who else did as that it is not 8 votes.

Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Had a crackin' weekend the last time the WC was in France. Gotta start saving for the next trip.
