£7 at the big clubs Russell

Wee Bann could hardly charge that

They don’t come any bigger, so perhaps “wee” Bann are just good value for money?!

Big derby on Saturday, we will be without McPhilips and probably Nelson, will be interesting to see what players are released. I wonder did Porter cancel his skiing trip?!

Oh no, must only be the 9 or 10 contracted/academy lads available to you then, is there?

Great win for Banbridge today 29:12, they played some great rugby and deserved to beat us. We got into abit of an arm wrestle upfront and with r lightweight pack, it was never going to be a good idea. Didn’t help they pulled Nelson this morning leaving us with no outhalf. Going to be tight with Shannon losing last night

Surely Ballynahinch should have a fly half already and not be relying on an UR hand me down?

Heard Hume was immense

Both r other first XV 10s r out injured. Had to chop and change a few things this morning but sure that’s the nature of the beast at this level. Probably suited Nelson as he didn’t want to play club rugby this season and asked not to be assigned to any club. Kiss was making him play! Ban showed a lot more desire upfront, r boys didn’t put up much of a fight in the 2nd half. Well deserved win.

Tough at the top UR, Bann without 1st and 2nd choice at 9 and 10?

I can confirm Hume was indeed immense Russ, as were the other 19!

For a 19 year olds first game in senior rugby, Hume was excellent, not afraid to carry but also seemed to play with his head up,made the first try bann try with a good break.

banbridge 10 usually plays at 12 and will be without their usual 10 who is out for the season. At 14-0 down after 30mins it looked it would be a very long afternoon for Banbridge. They were very comfortable in attack and defence in the second half, hinch never really troubled them.

Pete Brown got made a little boy numerous times in the tackle, mustn’t have fancied it.

For a guy on 80k a year, Browne was running that high into tackles you would have thought it was his first game of rugby. Another guy that should be let go by Ulster. Taking up a space of a young local prospect

Ballymena picked up what could be a vital bonus point win come the end of the season
