The point I'm making Baggy is to accept someone's truth unequivocally as is the current trend in some quarters, is to accept that people don't lie.
For example just reading that one Weinstein "victim" reveals her love for him in an email 4 years after her truth claims he raped her.

Half of Hollywood would do anything to get a PART ,and do it , then resent the fact that somebody else gets .

Do they not just use 'truth' because it's more modern than testimony. (And easier to spell)

What is missing to day is not freedom of speech But a total sense of humour failure and a desire to be offended coupled with an assumption of guilty intention .

This attitude when married to a vindictive desire for limelight and possible compensation means even the most petty PC errors can be become a major incident .

Nobody asks for an apology — report it to the highest authority and hope that its mishandled and then sue .

Re the Boris and the Burka

If commenting on the Burka is racist — then the Burka itself must be a racist statement .

The comment made is similar to saying any singer wearing dark glasses is a want-to -be Roy Orbison or nuns are penguins
