Moore versus Buckley will be one of the key contests. Buckley is criminally underrated by Joe Schidt but takes apart every scrum he goes against. Not sure what else he can do to get a cap?

I know from personal experience that there's nothing Buckley can do about one of those.

No sign of Dalton or Thompson again. Ross is a good honest grafter but he shouldn't be holding either out of the sub 2nd row slot if either were showing any sign of ability.

I can't say much for Thompson but Dalton certainly has the potential. The size and physicality is there but he needs to work on his rugby brain. I believe Dan is the right man for this. Also, I was advised last week that Dalton is only back from injury so a few games at club level would be better for him right now.

Having said that they all could both feature against the bluenoses next week.

Thompson being binned apparently, only on 6 month contract. There will be plenty more follow.

I'm also a big fan of Denis Buckley, especially his scrumaging, but in all honesty I'd always pick Healy and McGrath ahead of him. In another era he could have had a bucket full of Ireland caps
