Two of the Tests in the Ashes next season start in September.

End of July for the big one against Ireland though.

Not sure if it’s 4 days because of the Irish batting or the English batting!

Watching Ireland v Afghanistan, it's because of Ireland's batting

As long as they don't have a Taliban bowler, then it could get dangerous

Oh dear. Ireland all out today for 124 in just 36 overs. Afghanistan just need 47 more runs to win with 33 overs to go.
I know who I blame.

Did someone tell Ireland you are a test nation now, results don’t matter.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Doing a long weekend in London at end of July 2019 and we have tickets for Day 3 (Friday 26th July) of the England v Ireland test @ Lords. Hopefully the match will not be over by end of Day 2! But if it is I think we get our money back - quite pricey @ £60 per ticket. Pondering on what flegs to bring. No Onesies and green & white facepaint optional.

Not at Lord’s!

My favourite sporting venue in the world, not least because you’re allowed to bring a bottle of wine in each to a Test match.

I’d better check if that’s still the case for the World Cup. Quite possibly not.

Looks like NO to flegs and fancydress but its yes to the bottle of wine each and copious amounts of cheese, biscuits and peanuts. Cant see any mention of scarves so will probably risk my green & white scarf. And I have silly big green sunglasses. Don't we all?
