Email containing those figures and my own thoughts on their hypocrisy has been sent to:

press@diageo.com

Not sure if this is the most effective email address to send to, but it can't do any harm if others wish to follow suit.

It strikes me that what Paddy et al did, is not dissimilar to what many young people do week in, week out, often under the influence of products distributed and sold by the likes of Diageo. The only difference here was the consequential unfounded allegation with its disastrous repercussions, followed by the opportunism of a company like Diageo attempting to take some moral high ground.

An old codger like me may not condone what Paddy did, but nor will I condemn him when he has been shown in a court of law to have done nothing illegal. It is (sadly, imo) the way of the world nowadays.

Of course drunken excesses have always existed (and I am no stranger to them), but they do seem to have become a more excepted norm these days.

Munsterfans clambering back onto that moral high horse. They really are a shower and going against any other rugby supporters I've read or spoken too who feel the guys have been punished enough.

You'd almost forget about the Munstermen videoing their own threesomes.

And in that occasion it was the girl who got exiled. Where were the IFRU-BOI-Guinness values and standards then?

I read at the time on the munsterfans forum that one of the men on the video shouted "called me nixxer bxtch". And then the self same player complains of hearing a racial slur at an Ulster match.

It is ironic to consider that many progressives who wish to persecute Jackson in perpetuity, often argue for former ISIS volunteers to be allowed to return home for social rehab.

I can imagine this will embolden the many ‘concerned London Irish fans’ who threatened never to return to a game and they will now focus on other sponsors. It’s hard to think of any individual, convicted or acquitted, who has been subject to such a lengthy campaign.

Well time to bin Diageo drinks at Ravenhill.
From the NI bbc sport article it appears a good response from LI. IF they hold the same stance til the start of the season I’d say PJ would be owing them a huge season. They’ll need their main sponsor to stand firm I’d imagine. Totally unsurprisingly he’s slowly being forced out the UK.
