That would be a disgrace. Sure they could rest players for Europe Image

Big season for the following Zack McCall, Greg Jones, Clive Ross, Jonny Stewart and Angus Kernohan, could be the end of the road.

Stewart Moore and David McCann to break through this season.

Clive Ross has been needing a big season for the last 5 years. Still here though Image

Whats our strongest pack this season when all are available? Fantasy stuff

1 McGrath - O'Sullivan should be pushing him hard right from the get go, will be interesting to see where this tussle ends up come end of seasonstarting selection.... Warwick, McCall and O'Hagan all what I would now call dead wood.

2 Herring - Is John Andrew capable of making a push for selection, in my book McBurney seems to be the real deal. Hearing massive noises about the young Tom Stewart.... which would lead me to believe Zac McCall has missed the boat.

3 Moore - came in and solidified our scrum last year, an unsung hero for me, out injured start of season? Kane and O'Toole to push on? Word is Tu Toit who is primarily a tight head but can cover loose head is on his way as a medical joker. Milasinovich out for season.

4 Carter - O'Connor and Treadwell honest pros but not at this guys level
5 Henderson - Carter and Henderson our miles ahead of the next in line in the second row in my opinion

6 Timoney
7 Murphy
8 Coetzee

Reidy a decent pro who can cover the other position but I'm hoping to see the two Rea brothers bypass him. Marcus Rea seems to be a horse of a man that has that knack of getting over the gain line in tight situations. Greg Jones not up to it for me, is the stranglers brother David any good? Clive Ross waiting for his contract to run out......

Hopefully at loosehead Reid can advance pretty quickly, he looks to have bulked up rightly and is probably the best all round rugby player of any of our props, even with how dynamic O'Sullivan and O'Toole can be.

O'Connor Jr seems like a lad to bulk out the squad and probably not too much more than that. Outside of Marcus Rea, it's an important season for both Agnew and Hall, they've had their injury problems but hopefully with a good spell they can realise on their potential. Though with the consistent shoulder injuries Hall's had it looks unlikely. Make or break for Dunleavy too, though I thought he's looked good in footage of the A games of late, I don't know whether he's going to be able to break through. Hopefully one of or both McCann and Allison can get their first taste of senior rugby this season, most likely McCann with how quickly he seems to be developing (though mainly at 7, which I wouldn't have called).

In the unlikely event everyone is available for a big game, who do we think our centres and back three would be?

Could be:

Wingers - Jacob and Gilly
Centre - Stu and Will
FB - Louis

Bench - Luke/Matt (or both if Will covers 10)

Any word on Bobby B's knee?
