The Charlatans are kicking off their UK tour at Limelight on Nov 22.
Been decent enough when I’ve seen them before and they have a few cracking tunes.

Re: What are you listening to?
Saw the Dualers at the Limelight on Fri.
For those not familiar they are a 9 piece ska band from Lahndahn. Excellent night even if the Limelight is an absolute shytehole with sticky floors and a lingering smell of boak,
Also secured tkts for Ghost at the O2 in April. Again for the uninitiated they're a satanic glam metal band from Sweden. Saw them in Seattle 3 years ago and they were superb. Excellent support band too: Twin Temple a Satanic DooWop duo - sound like Amy Winehouse singing songs about the divil
Tbh they're about as Satanic as Alice Cooper - all good clean fun!

Then realised I had misread what you'd written.
Interesting that you call it a "shytehole" yet think the smell is from
Are you sure yer olfactory organ is functioning properly?

Re: What are you listening to?
Made it to the O2 earlier this week.
Ghost were spectacularly good.
Twin Temple, the Doo-wop Satanists were also excellent. I'd love to see them in a smaller venue like the Limelight but not sure the Free Ps would approve
Have to say, I wasn't overly impressed with the O2 acoustics but the infrastructure is very slick. Left our seats at 10:50 and were in our Westminster hotel before 11:25 (and that included a 15 min walk from the tube station)

Idlewild were good at the Empire last night.
Bit of a mixed bag in Bangor although the bar is working well.
Adam Ant, the legend, is on shortly - seen him half a dozen times in recent years and he’s been great.
67 now so fingers crossed…

Re: What are you listening to?
The Irish are more sycophantic than the brits. Gareth Brooks selling out one concert is bad enough.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
