* actually, he may be the reason we lose this as it was him who prematurely declared Ravenspan unfit and with the 16th man at home, we might just be a bit more competitive. - Okay, time for me to get off the glue too.
As per JP - the ref agreed last night that a 10 a.m. pitch inspection would be appropriate. It was tournament organisers who would not allow it.

That was a phenomenal second half, credit where credits due. Just left ourselves with too much to do.

I was worried at half time how we could recover psychological from another hammering. Hopefully that 2nd half will put the last 2 weeks to bed and we go into the interpros with more confidence.

Full credit to Ulster. You won the second half.

Plucky defeat RFC is back.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Doak for Burns ?
Re: Ulster v La Rochelle - Saturday (Sunday?) Ravenhill (RDS?)
Put the half time team talk on a loop for the rest of the season and try and develop some kind of siege mentality. Crap situation, rubbish first half, second half has to be made a baseline.
Doak outside Cooney went well. Stewart excellent, McCann and Treadwell with some very positive contributions.

Being a total what-if merchant, if McCloskey hadn't mouthed off and we had a penalty reversed that could have been the most unlikely of victories.
Not got tv coverage so can't see it, have been told there were some SR fans in the ground. Not sure if it's BS?

Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.

Cut the yellow card too,
Ball was loose - Hendy was entitled to play it.
Pearce, with no crowd to keep him right, was on an ego trip.
a couple of their tries were very (un)fortunate, with the bounce beating Cooney for one, and stealing their lineout but not collecting the ball for another. Just those little things the difference in the end.
Much better second half though. More recognisable as an Ulster team.

What’s the craic with some away fans in the stadium?

There were a couple of hundred of them in one section of the stadium.
Glad for them they got in, but totally pi$$ed off about it too. Both teams not being treated equally.
We lose £700K in revenue, we lose home advantage, we lose the 16th man, but the opposition allowed their fans in behind closed doors.
Who left one ajar? Heads should roll.
I blame ROG.

Apparently it's the official travelling party so not the real fans who forked out their own money to get over.rogni wrote:What’s the craic with some away fans in the stadium?

We didn't lose that, we just ran out of time.
Somehow after the Leinster 2nd half, Sale match, the 1st half tonight that now feels like a massive momentum swing. Almost feels like a win!
