You miss the point The European Cup this year is basically a no show due getting the round by BT and ERC at both Sale and for LR so why risk players in games which are not worth winning .

Go to Benetton with all guns firing and a win to achieve a morale boost

With a misfiring backline it may be harder than Baggy thinks

Because the truth is the game is being lost by the backs

And it is time to bring back a couple of exiles

But looking at the squad being sent the starting back row leaves something to be desired individually they might be alright the unit doesn't inspire
Ron'n my old chum, two things. BobE missing a point - how very unusual    Secondly, I don't know how you divined that I think it will be easy, indeed my whole point was that this needs the kitchen sink and the entire contents of the scullery thrown at it. (Remember when houses had a scullery, Ron?) Which is why I hope but don't necessarily expect them to maintain their unique record fernenst Treviso/BenElton.

Ron, you've been helped. :thumleft:

There are other options. It appears Marcus is an in-betweener, neither listed as injured nor available.

Did Marcus pish in Dan's Bovril? I thought he had done enough to be in the 23 when fit, especially since unlike his bro, he has good hands and actually wins turnovers.

If not fit, squad updates haven't mentioned it.

Maybe it was Dan's chips.

The only thing I can remember is his abysmal effort to tackle possibly the smallest player in pro rugby Blade when he scored in the connacht match. Perhaps he is being scapegoated but he did play a lot earlier in the season. A little rest now and I'd hope to see him come the business end of the season.

No- Jones is a waste of a squad place. File under Milosinovich

So do you think Matty Rea is deserving of one? I didn't say he's deserving of a place - just that I rate him as less poor than Matty Rea.

Would the mix of Reffell Marcus and Timoney work? Light, high work rate, and fast, but lineout would be screwed I’d expect with lack of height.

Glad to see more of Reffell he will only get better, his size is a concern though, and really does mean potentially a bigger 6/8.
I’ll be interested to see how his breakdown threat goes once he has his match fitness to hit breakdowns nice and early, he definitely appears smaller than Marcus.
That workrate “appetite/attitude” can only be a squad positive, although very early days looks a good edition.

If I was McCann I’d be finding out exactly why I wasn’t being picked, there is a place in that matchday backrow going spare.

Surprised noone has questioned the inclusion of Jacob Stockdale. I've thought that he has been seriously off the pace since his return. He might have been better with an 80 minute run out at Ealing. Rob Lyttle could have deputised in Treviso.
