Amazing stuff.....

James French... can't hack 10mins in Parma. Another great agent? Or standard sh**e from Bryn Cunningham?

UR didn't even announce his signing if I recall correctly.

We're top of the league. Can't wait for ERC to start. We are going to win everything.
A couple of great prospects in French and McGrath. I can see them displacing Furlong and Bealham this season in the Irish squad. Great bit of scouting by Bryn. He can produce nuggets from nowhere.
Jonny Bell really is a master tactician.

There were some positives in that massive pile of turd. Addison back again, thought Stewart, Treadwell, McCann, Doak and Flannery all looked very good, Stockdale didn't have a bad game either. Our defence and set piece though...

For the season as a whole, if we can get our starting props back and keep them fit then the set piece hopefully won't be so much of a concern, but huge question marks over what Bell is doing.

Small mercies we were playing the worst team in the league and scraped through. Defence was absolutely shocking at times, I don't know what bell is doing, but he better change tack soon. Zebra ran from a scrum on our 10m line into the 22 without a hand being laid on them.
Lowry on the wing didn't work, he and Addison have a battle for the 15 or 23 shirt this year. Long long way off where we need to be, but a long way to go also.

That was absolutely p1sh. But let's learn some lessons and move forward. One can only be reassured by the noises coming from the squad pre-match that they were the expecting a tough match and wouldn't take Zebre for granted. Imagine if we'd been complacent :duh:

Off the pitch, is anyone at Ulster actually doing a good job? McGrath and French signed as academy has been awful for years, McFarland going for the Leicester job and continual odd selections, Bell useless, Petrie and Bryn awful.

Only heard it on the rdio but everything seemed to get better when the subs came on. Does that sound right?

Given his history of dud signings this one (along with McGrath) rests squarely on the shoulders of Bryn Cunningham.

What about a whip round to get Ox Niche as back up to Kitshoff?

Marty and TOT will do at TH. Hooker fine. That would be the front row sorted.
