Height and reach would count against him. Maybe somebody tall and leaner like Baloucoune. Hendo should be putting his applied mathematical skills to use in the Ulster laboratory devising a formula for this.jean valjean wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 12:24 amBe like the bumps at a birthday party. Thinking of Shanners or a similar wee fella, are you allowed to throw a player into the air or must lifters always keep contact with the 'liftee'?

Re: Line out
I think not Solids. The laws state that there is an onus on those lifting/supporting the jumper to return him safely to the ground. This would imply maintaining contact.solidarity wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 9:38 pm Thinking of Shanners or a similar wee fella, are you allowed to throw a player into the air or must lifters always keep contact with the 'liftee'?
Not sure what the penalty would be for failing to do so.

Comments say it's illegal though.

Big Duane shaped hole in out line out and maul this year. Would be surprised if he was player coach last year.
