Grim match, but a good away win after the Treviso draw.

Four points for Ulster in a terrible match to watch but with Benneton V Scarlets on tomorrow the four points should move Ulst up the table. A valuable win to night.

A game in the balance for too long .There to be won by both teams who struggled not to lose .
Surprised the players released played 80 mins but the score line for most of the game meant there was no desire to weaken the side until the game was safe .
Which it never was !!!

Really want to see a game where Lowry doesn't get injured, really concerning.

How likely is that though?

Ospreys were poor tonight but an away win is not to be sniffed at. I can't decide if our defence was awesome or the O's were as awful as they appeared. I know they were missing a few but seriously we pushed their mauls back on several occasions, I'm still in shock about that
We just looked blunt and lacked creativity which is surprising with Cavey at 13! Still, pleased we won and that's all we need to keep doing.

Grim game but hard fought, good spirit, dogged..
Good job, especially from Darren.
Well worth the trip.

I think the days of Cave providing much creativity are probably over.
We picked a pretty limited back three, more out of necessity than choice, but can be reasonably pleased with the set piece, handling, discipline and defensive structure.
Job done.

Were you there? I didn’t see many old people in the crowd on the tele.
Bit tricky for me given VD duty at the theatre yesterday and the Big Cat Sanctuary In Kent tomorrow.

Hate to tell you Justin but the big pussy sanctuary is not all what it could be believed to be. Trades and descriptions act need not apply.

Players have been banned for a lot less than the forearm on Lowry. Refs were supposed to be clamping down on leading with the forearm by the ball carrier.

Paddy "bloody" Wallace said it wasn't deliberate. Great comment Paddy

I'd give full marks to Ludik. This guy always gives 100% whether wing or FB and hardly ever plays a bad game. He was as brave and sound under the high ball as ever and still has an attacking edge to him. A dull game yes - but Ulster did look very comitted and tight in defence. A good enough away win, and denied Ospreys the bonus point. We'll take it.
Thought Herring played an agressive game and must still be in with a shot for the third RWC hooker slot if he keeps it up.
Hendo, though far from his best, really makes a difference.
