First he can't do sums, then he can't read English!

Which part of "The" & "End" don't you understand, Tighty?

Couldn't resist - but then you know me well enough by now!!

I think he's simply reached the end of his tether .... sorry, thread, Tighty.

Cap'n

In my work I have been trained not just to accept the ''obvious interpretataion'' of a comment but to look out for the often deeper meaning that would escape ''ordinary mortals'' like yourself. I was alarmed that TOK may be experienced a ''mid life crisis'' of epic proportions but then again I'm probably 10 years too late !!

Answering for tok again Cap'n - I wonder ??

Good idea Paul - would have to get Dewi/Stewi to sort that out as I am ''a bit thick'' on technical matters.

At least there is a link on THE FRU site to UAFC site which appears not to be reciprocated here - AS YET ??!!

''ordinary mortals''?

''ordinary mortals''?

What can you mean, SIR?

By the way, I too had wondered about your concern for "The Ulster Way", but if I mention it now, you'll suspect Paul of being tok, so I won't! But maybe that's where he goes when he's on the run!

iS THE dAUGHTER GETTING MARRIED

cOULD THIS BE A FIRST IN CYBERSPACE ?

DON'T THINK OF IT AS LOSING A DAUGHTER

jUST THINK OF IT AS GAINING AN OVERDRAFT

i KNOW I'm facing the same

and when things come to pass and the grand kids are laid at the doorstep on a friday night

No more ravers the cork hat buried at the bottom of the garden

Her in doors saying "you go and warm the bottle "

"WHAT!!??"

"OK then you change the nappy then "

Just like ravers ---- we can't win
2B or not 2B that is the question ?

So do I, Cables, so do I.

But I am ‘Out of time’ and , as I am not a ‘Day Sleeper’ like yourself, I must away, as I have to ‘Get Up’ early in the morning.

Receiving department, 3 a.m.
Staff cuts have socked up the overage
Directives are posted
No callbacks, complaints
Everywhere is calm

Hong Kong is present
Taipei awakes
All talk of circadian rhythm

I see today with a newsprint fray
My night is colored headache grey
Daysleeper, daysleeper, daysleeper

The bull and the bear are marking
Their territories
They're leading the blind with
Their international glories

I'm the screen, the blinding light
I'm the screen, I work at night

I see today with a newsprint fray
My night is colored headache grey
Don't wake me with so much
Daysleeper

They cried the other night
I can't even say why
Fluorescent flat caffeine lights
Its furious balancing

I'm the screen, the blinding light
I'm the screen, I work at night

I see today with a newsprint fray
My night is colored headache grey
Don't wake me with so much
Don't wake me with so much. The
Ocean machine is set to 9
I'll squeeze into heaven and valentine
My bed is pulling me,
Gravity
Daysleeper, daysleeper
Daysleeper, daysleeper, daysleeper

Dear bogboy,

Many thanks for the sympathetic hearing, which is more than I got from ballpark, “world explorer extraordinaire”. It was remiss of me not to reply to you earlier, but I am alright now. (Well, actually half left but let’s not go there again so soon.)

In response to your concern, yes, the wee girl has fallen in love and has embarked upon a spending spree which will make Imelda Marcos look like Scrooge. I think I will start saving up for next year’s season ticket now just in case renewal is taken off the domestic agenda later in the year.

The happy event will not however be taking place in cyber space, although rumours do abound of other startling breaks with tradition. No doubt some form of garbled report will appear in Scoop some time later.

As for what may come to pass, cork hats aside, is that not what Grannies are for?

Kind regards,

tok

PS – I see you are an expert in identifying spoilt children on the MB – a grandfather already??!!!

Colin

Ask Freddie if you can borrow a "ç" when he's finished with it. I know I gave him one the other day.

My dear kimble, I thought fugitives weren't supposed to elicit sympathy? Oh very well then this should cheer you up no end

Desperado, I see you've come to your senses.
You've been out ridin' fences for so long now.
Oh your a hard one, i know that you got your reasons,
These things that ain't pleasin' you, can hurt you somehow.

Desperado, oh you ain't gettin' no younger,
Your pain and your hunger they're drivin' you home,
And freedom, well that's just some board members talkin',
Your prison is walkin' through this forum all alone.

And your feet got cold at Ravers time,
the sky won't snow and the sun won't shine,
It's hard to tell the nightmares from the day,
We're losin' by high scores and low,
Ain't it funny how the feelin' goes away.

Desperado, I see you've come to your senses,
You've come down from the fences and opened the gate,
It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you,
You better let somebody love you,
You better let somebody love you before it's too late.....................
