Or two on Saturday two on Sunday.

Surprised French TV didn't want both French fixtures on the Sunday.

Two at same time is a nonsense.

BBC reports fake news

Ulster eased to a 28-0 victory in Belfast before an impressive 25-23 win in France nine days later.

Fact-check

Err, 38-0 victory.

If Sarries win the cup this year, who will get the spot in next year's competition that they would have earned?

Parker pen winners?
7th in the EPL?
Anybody that isn't English?

Would be PP winner (if not qualified), then PP finalist (if not qualified), then PP semi finalist (if not qualified), beyond that Je ne sais pas

So, not content with breaking the salary cap, Sarries fielded an ineligible player when beating Racing in January.

There’s a hearing at 6pm this evening.

Presumably, that could mean that Glasgow take 8th spot but if Racing get the points then that would bump them up them up too.

Are we going to Toulouse after all....?

I hope so given that the flights and hotel are booked!

This could end up in the courts ...

Sanction will be what is required to kick Sarries out and replace them with Glasgow.

Racing will protest as they lost out in a home quarter final but no way will tournament want to have to re-do draw for quarters.

From the Swiss Nigels' point of view, the least worst case for them is to fine Saracens and to have to face an angry Glasgow. If they deduct points from Saracens to let Glasgow in, R92 will kick off and ask why they aren't being given the game 28-0 and 5-0 on match points which would give them a home QF BUT screw up the entire existing QF line up with people having flights and tickets bought and many many people will be angry in that last scenario.

If R92 were awarded the game 28-0, it would be D4 v Weegies, R92 v Saints, Chiefs v Ulster and Toulouse v Clermont.

Is there any precedent for this in either the HEC or PP. Is there anything in the tournament rules?

Glssgow and R92 should both be contacting their legal teams

Damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Hopefully the tournament rules are clear or the whole thing could be a farce.

"French club Grenoble were deducted four points for fielding an ineligible player against London Welsh in the 2012-13 Challenge Cup.

Grenoble had won the fixture 20-9 but London Welsh were awarded a 28-0 victory after the hosts played Lotu Taukeiaho, who was not registered as a tournament squad member."

The guy from Sarries was fine to play when the matchday squad was announced but his work permit expired the day before the game.

"This new possible violation is likely to markedly disrupt the positions from the 2020 Champions Cup qualification stages," read a statement from Racing 92, who travel to Clermont for their quarter-final after finishing as the fifth-best group winner.

"Racing 92 regrets not having been informed of this violation sooner and will take steps so that their rights and the competition's fair play are respected."
