Diack could be the best number 8 in Ireland if he gets back to his best, IMO
Chris Henry is superhuman... I think he's half cyborg

I think Robbies form improvedwhen he realised he wasn't going to make his fortune out of selling cheese boards made from wine barrels and that UR were actually paying him to play rugby.Scranner wrote:I still have high hopes that Diack can turn into the player he promised to be. His form towards the end of last season was showing signs of returning to what he produced in his first season. Perhaps if Wilson makes it onto the Irish squad and Robbie get more starts he might surprise us all.ColinM wrote:Or just a way of getting another foreigner in.
Or maybe Munster have the option to extend by a year.
Diack was touted as a future springbok too, and he only turned out a squad player for Ulster
TBH would have thought UR would be rather drunk off as outside business interests should be a no-no while in contract ( save for promotional/endorsements etc ).

Robbie back to his best would be a fantastic thing for Ulster. He has all the attributes, just needs to tighten up............. I’m sure we have someone who can help him with that.......

Can't see the cheeseboards helping Robbie retire early or indeed hinder his rugby career. Pro sportspeople have a lot of long afternoons off and trying a bit of business is surely better than arsing about playing Fifa on the ps3 or whatever. If his business were physically demanding or he wanted mornings off training orsomething it may be different.

Think this is a great signing for Munster and really pleased for them. One of Munster's biggest weaknesses in recent years has been their NIQ signings, other than Howlett and maybe BJ they have struggled to get top class players. With JJ and Stander I'm sure they are a bit happy down Munster way these days.

Is he a 6 or 7?
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Sounds better than our new flanker

They do well when they can land nailed on certs. They're rubbish with anyone who's a risk and they have no ability to spot talent down there.
