Those figures suggest that those who thought it was a foregone conclusion were wrong, this was so one-sided it was at least a five or sixgone conclusion.

Frankly though I don't give a toss about horse racing, McCoy's record is worthy of recognition year after year.

Not a great year for interviews, 1/2 d was dull as ditch-water & Murray, to his credit, confessed to the most boring voice since Father Fitzgerald.

To be fair, if Stuart Hall had won Wimbledon last year, he probably would have won SPOTY by a distance.

Le Tour's stock has fallen very sharply in middle Engerland over the past 12 months. Wonder what the next Holy Grail is? FIFA World Cup? - wouldn't houl me breath for that one

I think it's also because Froome is a Ashton, and Wiggins wasn't

Best price you can get is 1/5, so it looks like it. Hard to think of a major sporting accomplishment before December that could eclipse him.

Well remember that Ryan Warren Gatland Giggs won this due to popular vote taking place

Can only see Hamilton surpassing Rores

Easterby Out

He'll need to win something first.

Sure it's the only reason any self respecting sports personality even attempts to win anything...

Cue arguments about what constitutes a "personality".

Don't even bother watching it anymore. BBC only gives recognition to sports they cover.
