The Place de la Victoire has a Christmas Market running most of December.

Currently sitting in this bar. The Affligem Christmas beer is rather tasty and they have a fair range of food. Can't miss the place as its next to the cathedral at the top (vertically) of the town and bang next to the Christmas market.

They have 4 Affligem beers on tap with edelweiss, Fischer, Murphy's red and Guinness. They also have Strongbow. In bottle there are 3/4 Belgians together with some typical French ones- Heineken, Pelforth and Desperados. There are some other bars with craft type beer. I'm off to explore and will report back.

You are all warmly welcolme in Clermont.
Ulsterfans have been very nice with us (particulary me...) in Belfast.
Impossible to pay just one beer, all offered!
The public in stade Michelin is hot, but everybody here knows how you've been with us, so is pleased to see you again in Clermont.
A walk all together could occured from Place de Jaude to the stadium.
Let's keep in touch.

What do you want to know?
City center is "Place de Jaude", nice for shopping.
Have a look just nearby, at the cathedral made of volcanic stone.
Pubs are in cathedral's quarter (like in Belfast...)
The rugby area is around the Stade Michelin, take the tram to go there.
If you have time, the tire firm Michelin is just behind, you can visit it.

Try to avoid anyone wearing a onesie, face paint or with a Knocknagoney accent Moley.

Aye hope you paid your own way and if not hope you choke on your free food and drink
