The one thing Logan will be very keen to do is attribute any negative sentiment towards him as being directly linked to the PJ/SO situation. Now whilst some of that will undoubtedly be true, the reality is (for me anyway) that he has undoubtedly demonstrated over recent months that he is not fit to be the CEO of Ulster rugby, given his complete disregard for a key stakeholder (the fans), absence during a period of crises and letting someone else kop the flak and making disrepectful and insulting comments to the fans about always being available etc. All of this not to mention the decline in the club in the recent years in various ways including performance wise.

So rest assured his tactic will be to put any dissent down to feelings running high post the decision last weekend but the reality is Logan should not be in the job for a host of other reasons which he will be keen to deflect away from.

I'm sorry to see that my posts have died during the saving of the forum, I've already had a personal apology from Fermain >EW and I'm happy to extend that on his behalf to those of you who have been similarly wronged by the FIRFUC's shinnerbot that has caused havoc.

I've spent my time usefully in the meantime writing emails to folk as varied as Ulster Rugby, Tony Ward and URSC. I am not waiting with baited breath for replies, not everyone was brought up by a woman of the quality of my mother who instilled impeccable good manners. :duh:

I will treat you to the email to URSC, and recommend you do not allow the nibs of your pens to dry up, get writing:
Selfishly I will attend the game on Saturday as it will be my last before emigrating and I have some goodbyes to say, if anyone else is attending.

I would like URSC to say:

Whilst it is the very purpose of our organisation to support the club, we prefer to think of the decision as one handed down to Ulster Rugby rather than one made by Ulster Rugby. That we understand from an unimpeachable source that it was a major sponsor who laid out their position as "they go or we go", and that sponsor was Bank of Ireland.

Furthermore, in the light of the above, we urge Ulster Rugby to consider if this sponsorship should be allowed to force innocent men to emigrate, especially given the record of this sponsor in being a major part of the financial crash in Ireland a decade ago and as recently as their last financial year, having to refund mortgage customers €170 million for breaching the terms of their own product.

Whilst we understand that large sponsors do not grow on trees, we urge Ulster Rugby to reflect on having a sponsor who pays scant regard to the interests of their clients, and to consider is Bank of Ireland a suitable company to be associated with Ulster Rugby, surely our standards need to be better than that? We had expected that the association was purely financial however if morality comes into consideration we believe Ulster Rugby has no lessons to take from Bank of Ireland.

We assert our support of Paddy Jackson, Stuart Olding & Craig Gilroy, notwithstanding many people's disquiet at their WhatsApp & text comments, however, we are appalled that Paddy Jackson in particular, as an innocent man appears to have taken the flack for the comments despite having made only one minor remark - "lots of spit", and consider the response of the FIRFU in collapsing in the face of sponsor pressure was in no way proportional.

Many of our members and other friends are stating that they will either never again buy a season ticket or in some case, never return to Ravenhill -or Kingspan as you call it.

We are further distressed that throughout the entire season, little or nothing has been said publicly by the CEO a man who we understand used to trade using Serve to Lead, but his leadership has only been noticeable by its absence. We urge the CEO to consider his position in the circumstances of the entire season for many members believe it to be untenable. Leadership has been absent.

Like the loud people on social media, who with the self-interested clickbait media, have largely precipitated the removal of Messrs Olding & Jackson, we expect an answer.

Finally, we would like to place on public record our appreciation of what Paddy & Stuart brought to the team on the pitch, we will neither forget them, nor forgive those who cast them aside. Ulster Rugby & particularly the FIRFU have a huge task on their hands in regaining the faith of Ulster Rugby supporters, Ulster Rugby should expect that there will be a significant fall off in attendances, Ireland likewise.

Wanted to see 2,000 signed up before going to bed, but sadly only 1,975.

Logan will claim that means about 15,000 are behind him....plus of course the thiusands of people he has been speaking to over the past few months.....

Laughed at his comment about Bryn being reponsible for the rugby. Again completely chucking his colleagues under the bus to deflect any criticism. If I was Brynner I'd be straight into his office and volunteer to rearrange his smug bake. But then he'd probably do some SAS one finger death choke he learned during covert ops.

I’d forgotten about that bizarre one. Logan cluldn’t attend the fans events before from a legal perspective because of the trial (we wanted to know what was going on with the coaches, recruitment etc at that time, not the f’in trial) yet Bryn could attend because he did a different role??? All just made up rubbish from Logan again.

What other factors not in the public domain did the FIRFU take into account when ditching our innocent players? He made reference to that also.

In Irish Rugby, drink driving, spit roasting and woman fleeing country, performance enhancing drugs, punching an ex girlfriend so hard you break her eye socket, all fine. Writing "there was a lot of spit" on a private WhatsApp chat, dismissal.

Utter B.S. from Logan. He had nothing to do with the trial. He wasn't a witness. He wasn't in court. Even if he was he could have still gone to a supporters meeting and said "No comment". I seriously can't believe a word comes out of his mouth at this stage. I'm beginning to wonder if he was the complainant in a wig.

He must think we're all absolutely stupid. Bryn and Fiona did the fan thing and Fiona was in court loads.

Jackie, i'd say it's not that those things are fine in the eyes of irish rugby; it's more of a case of hushing it up and getting it under the radar, and out of the papers, then ye're grand. The Irish Way.
