Hendo has 50/55 in him. AOC can’t be expected to do another 80 in a 6 day turnaround after last week. We are normally undone by losing the tight 5, this should hopefully keep a solid enough platform for the 20/30 mins required. No one wants a Gloucester repeat.

From the injury list, only Addison, Stockdale and Baloucoune would have had a chance (not a guarantee) of a spot in the starting team. Great to see a strong team named. I just hope we get out of the blocks early and let Saints know they're in for a hard night of it.
I reckon a fit Jordi would start at 6.

Could be a cracker. Looking forward to it.

my take would be that Jones appears to provide another option in the line out

Surely with a stronger pool of players to pick from rotation is being applied and well done the management team for making the decision to do so.

Ulster 1/12
Northampton 7/1
Draw 30/1

Don't know what they're giving on a cancellation, so failing that, I think I'll take a bit of Northampton at that price.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

Great odds for Northampton. Be worth a tenner to soften the blow of defeat.

Agree with others - if fit, Reidy should be on the bench. He gives great impact from there during a game and in fact even in a fully loaded team i’d Often put him on the bench due to his impact.

Pack is close to full strength or certainly as close you are likely to be able to field. In an ideal world. The “concern” is not the names but lack of game time for Hendy, plus Jack McGrath, who would start if fully fit. Agree with justin73 that Jordi would also be in there if fit, as he was excellent last season.

As an observation it is some turnaround for the Rea brothers. 4 games ago Marcus didn’t appear to exist in Dan’s mind and Matty was starting week in week out. Fast forward and Marcus is now a starter in the big games and Matty is nowhere to be seen, even though the bench split should favour him, as he could cover lock also and provide a lineout option.

Too be honest wouldn't be upset in the slightest if it was 6. Reidy 7. Murphy 8. McCann tomorrow night.

We are in a good place..... which I'm extremely uncomfortable with. It's not the Ulster way

Rea Snr busy with his new house project on Instagram :banghead: no small coincidence he has disappeared from the matchday team sheet if posting pics is his priority.

Fair enough however both their names are very much on the account front page.

For those who haven't seen it on the other thread, Louis Ludik getting a very much deserved belated send off tonight. :fleg:

Stand Up for that Ulster Man!!!!

Just a pity for him that he has to talk to Pete Snodden at half time - should just walk round the perimeter of the pitch and take the adulation.
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right
