Don't mind that. The ulster tops over hoodies with lanyards on full display annoys me.

Not guilty on Saturday, but would be on many occasions. (Lanyard on my hip though, not around my neck)

Do 'we'?
Perhaps people may wish to avoid encouraging any petty retribution when admonishing some of the less stable bake book contributers and feel that leaving things anonymous may help in that regard. Fair enough - it's their call. But I am not aware if any policy we have as a community.

I can see them doing that if requested by the bakebooker, or preemptively if the comments here were personally critical (what would be the chances of that?). Maybe they feel it's easier just to have a policy of anonymity. Wasn't aware of it myself.

Ah FFFS BR, would I have said it if it wasn't true. We certainly do and given the punters concerned have happily put their name to public statements, which if I understand bakebook they cannot delete, then I remain steadfastly confused as to why we have the remotest interest in them being anonymous here.

From a moral point of view. We should have no problem reporting what they have said elsewhere. The problem arises where you have comments on that identified person made here on an anonymous forum.
So you have a non-anonymous person being 'helped'/ridiculed by a group of faceless keyboard warriors. Could lead to the terrible crime of internet bullying!
Replying to them on bakebook, at least a) those replying are theoretically identifiable.
b) the person has the right to reply.
Bakebook posts are deletable.
