Widows (2018) - if you fancy an easy to watch and not too demanding a film that rattles along with a bit of swearing, some worthwhile nudity and a bit of gory violence then watch this. Wee Jane prefers romantic comedy stuff but even she thought it was good.

Watched the Personal History of David Copperfield last night.

Thought Iannucci played too fast and loose with the plot, the "blind casting" was fecking bizarre and the QFT was full of middle class ballbegs who kept laughing knowingly at stuff that wasn't the slightest bit funny. Patel was a passable Copperfield, Capaldi was a shyte Micawber and Aneurin Barnard was a rather good Steerforth. 4/10

Haven’t been to the cinema since before Covid. Hopefully will venture there soon. Is Belfast still on anywhere?
