Now THAT was a show I always hated . . . . . .but the Grandfather loved.
Here was me vying for tv time hoping for a glimpse of the Zep, Stranglers
or Clash and having to listen to that bile!

I'll see your "The Good Old Days" raise you a "Black and White Minstrel Show"
Wonder what support there'd be for trying to bring something like that back nowadays?
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right

Feck lads I remember The Good Old Days. The mother used to watch it. Awful stuff. Thankfully the other one was a little before my time. I've seen it and it was embarassing to say the least.
Now in terms of these new signings something like New Faces would be fairly appropriate.....Press your buttons now.
Anyway I hope Niall O'Connor does well in his return to Ulster duty. I think he has something to offer. He just needs a bit of direction I'd say. The new coach may have what it takes to progress him along...hopefully anyway.
With a name like that you'd expect great things. If he can be half as successful as Niall Noígíallach he'll do alright.
It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways.

The way to Thomond Park would be good. Maybe someone will take him hostage.
Smear me in chocolate and throw me to the Lesbians.
Ulster Rugby today announced the signings of scrumhalf Michael Heaney and back row forward Sean Doyle...
Heaney has rejoined the club from Doncaster Knights on a 4 month short term deal, with the opportunity of a full time contract at the end of that period.
A graduate of the Phoenix Ulster Academy, Heaney has represented Ulster at all levels and made his senior debut for the Province in a pre-season friendly away to Harlequins in August 2010. He was a member of the Ireland U20 squad that won the 2010 Six Nations Championship and also competed in the IRB Junior World Championships later that year.
The 21 year old joined Doncaster midway through the 2011/12 season after playing his club rugby in Ulster with Belfast Harlequins.
Doyle is an Australian born openside flanker who has joined from Sydney club side Southern Districts. The Irish-qualified 22 year old has been one of the leading players in the New South Wales Premier Grade over the past four seasons and has also been a strong performer for the NSW ‘A’ representative side.
