We will take our learnings from this game and move forward. The lads are really disappointed.

Greg and Matty will rally the troops as key members of the leadership team.. Billy will deploy his Einsteinian Rugby IQ to formulate the plan for European domination

Even an idiot knows that pre-season friendlies are meaningless (PNE had a terrible summer yet now sit top of the log after their best start in 120 years :D ) BUT the squad does look pretty thin at the minute.

The now departed likes of Gilly, Duane, Carter, Sutherland, Jeff, Mads and Jordi were all senior international players.

Still, it’s only another two years before Damien McKenzie is out of contract again.

Let’s start saving up.

Not a lot to feel positive about these days with Ulster Rugby.

Billy Burns is phenomenal, best rugby brain Dan has ever seen. I wouldn't want another outhalf named in the squad as it would just destroy their confidence seeing the great one destroy all around him.

Sometimes feels like Billy will still be starting in 2033. Might be a decent bloke but then so am I.

(Also half the people on here have superb rugby brains. We shouldn't be anywhere near starting at 10 either)

Ulster Rugby ffs. They cannot read the room, whatsoever.

I obviously want the team and organisation to do well but jeez, they don't make it easy to like them (the organisation at least).
