Re: Plastic Pitch
I don't know the costs, but think they are definitely more expensive. You'd like to think if the Turnips can afford it given their financial woes we can too.
Re: Plastic Pitch
Turnips aren't paying for their pitch I am guessing, IRFU covering it. Munster owe Dublin much money from Thomond Park build etc.MightyRearranger wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 12:05 pm I don't know the costs, but think they are definitely more expensive. Re: Plastic Pitch
We don’t have one when will people listen we got rid of all ground staff a few months before the cancelled pitch debacle in December … a factor in cancellation maybe ???firebell53 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 11:18 am We must have one of the worst pitches in the League. Way to many matches played on the pitch, that’s the problem..
Fewer matches ,better pitch. No need for a plastic pitch. Less matches and a top class grounds person will help solve the problem.

Re: Plastic Pitch
Were they laid off in anticipation of the plastic pitch? Must have Sparky mowing the grass, or perhaps it's one of the other things Jones does behind the scenes...

Re: Plastic Pitch
Ulster no longer have groundsmen as such as they let them all go sometime before the frozen pitch debacle … explains the frozen pitch the fact that they turned the floodlights on two days before in desperation of defrosting pitch..MightyRearranger wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 4:22 pm Were they laid off in anticipation of the plastic pitch? They since employ a management company to call by every so often and keep the pitch up to scratch… may be reason why pitch is poor it no longer has daily attention..
Saving money it seems

Only if you're using a 5G plastic grass phone - allegedly!jean valjean wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 7:31 am5g causes cancer apparently, so no way.Dave wrote:May as well get 5G. Future proof it.
Even then, there's no reliable evidence to suggest that 3G,4G, 5G, 37G or any other G of plastic grass causes cancer.
But who am I to stand in the way of a good conspiracy rumour?
