And I don't just mean Ireland. It shouldn't happen anywhere.

I think an Ah You living and embracing the culture of Ireland is more Irish than the Hagan's who have moved to Australia or the Hoolihans of West Texas

Is Rodney not a cousin of the Galway Ah Tis Yerself clan?

Agreed on the general point. I don't like this residency ruling at all.

One thing I will say though is that Ah You appears to be committed to Connacht having extended his stay a couple of times already but I'd still prefer if international rugby was between players from Country A and Country B. Otherwise it is little more than an extension to the professional club game.

It will be blocked on RTE on Sky up here.
Are you suggesting that the RTE broadcast on sky will be blocked in NI, but the terrestrial RTE broadcast in NI will remain?

Exactly that BR though from above it seems RTE might not be showing this. Maybe they haven't updater their schedules.

Same as with champions league. If its on RTE its blocked on Sky

I thinking that will only be the case if you have tricked your box into thinking it is in the South.

What that RTE will be blocked? Wouldn't be blocked for those in the south.

That was the case pre-digital switch-over. Is that still the case now RTE is broadcast from NI (to most)?

No - terrestrial is no longer overspill. Mostly from NI transmitters.

Mick "the diver" McCarthy out of Emerging Ireland trip, must have hurt himself attempting a triple Salco.

Lutton & McCloskey called up.

Wrong thread langball.

Look Baggy I know you are pushing on old boy but this is really very sloppy by the standards you have set for yourself. You've been helped.
