With great difficulty. Likewise with the Irish/Gaelic for Holywood which is Ard Mhic Nasca - means High Ground of Mac Nasca who apparently was the Dad of St Laiseran.

The Latin name is easier to pronounce - Sanctus Boscus which means what it says - Holy Wood.

Strange thing is Shan it was previously deemed a waste of money by one of the SF ministers in relation to some costs that would occur.
An Act won't save it, what will is if people want to save it and speak it. Compulsory road signs etc only divide and will get defaced where not wanted by locals.

It doesn't really matter what any SF person said. Money is not the issue here. It is simply a handy excuse when folk don't want to say that the real reason is because of the division itself.

Money is a serious issue, the cost of road signs alone is astronomical, not only do the signs need changed but the actual poles etc that hold them are not designed for the larger signs needed, same goes for public buildings as well.
At present is is a great wee excuse for SF and DUP both to use to keep themselves out of any difficult decisions on health and education.
That's why they give out about SOS Karen Bradley doing nothing, both would love it if she reformed health and education and she knows well what they are at.

Whole thing is a farce to keep the them'uns and us'uns happy

I've been away for a while since before peace broke out. I will assume from this thread title that everything is now back to normal, both cultures are now fully embracing each other's differences and Ulster are still crap at rugby.
