The clock goes into the red, he kicks the ball out, takes out the gumshield and thinks **now I've beaten Argentina**Russ wrote:75:41 and an 11 point lead

Re: November test matches
The most positive thing is that we can be disappointed with a below par performance which still resulted in a somewhat comfortable victory. A lot of work to do. Lineout a huge concern. NZ will be looking forward to stealing our ball all day.
Kearney's place next week is confirmed assuming he is fit. NZ kick a lot of ball and Larmour did not do enough today in terms of catching. Cometh the hour etc...

Re: November test matches
The Best/Henderson throwing and calling lineout combination has been consistently bad all season. Neither deserves to start next week. If Best plays then Toner has to start. Scannell and Cronin in much better form. Henderson should also be dropped. Pressure from Beirne and Toner already and again his performances this season have not been good enough.

That second half was dire.

Seems a good call having ignored it, pity they won. Were any maimed?
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
Re: November test matches
Best throwing to Henderson was surprisingly spot on today. Ryan dropped a good throw. Some of the calls were predictable maybe. Retallick destroyed England's lineout. I think Toner will start next week because of that.Bart S wrote:The Best/Henderson throwing and calling lineout combination has been consistently bad all season. Neither deserves to start next week. Larmour doesn't believe he has to pass anymore and isn't so good when the opposition tackle him. NZ kicked so much ball that even I would start Super Bob next week.Shan wrote:The most positive thing is that we can be disappointed with a below par performance which still resulted in a somewhat comfortable victory.
