Re: The Golf
A great watch over the past couple of days. Interesting to reflect on the crowd. All the players and officials regularly waved their arms to get the crowd going. I thought the crowd was supposed to help the players, not the other way round. Rather wanted to send to them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vg6WU8_SYzg or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eedncxr_MbA

Watching the Ryder Cup.
So culturally, it's ok for the crowd to boo the Europeans when they're introduced?

Taking their lead from some of the players. Keopkas language to the match officials said it all.solidarity wrote:Watching the Ryder Cup.

There's a few fannys on that European team. Jaysus it's not just wee girls. It's now middle aged men in Pringle jumpers.

I favour shorts and a black t-shirt from May to September and jeans when weather dictates but my post refers to blokes who are old enough not to be blubbing over what is at best a very poor excuse for a sport for anybody other than retirees. Dry yer feckin eyes boys. Yer an embarassment.solidarity wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 8:28 pmSo, Merv, exactly what is the well dressed mature man wearing these days?big mervyn wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 4:36 pm There's a few fannys on that European team. Spot on
And even if mcI had won 5 points instead of 1, USA would still have won 15-13.
Given the ranking of the individual players in the respective teams, a hammering was always on the cards. Europe lucky to get 9.

Re: The Golf
I see the big bold new Saudi backed golf tournament starts tomorrow and is on Premier (well, Freesport) for all four days.Pity it wasn't on Premier itself, would have made our fees a bit more worthwhile.
