Ravens v small turnips

Post by Rooster »

Another match that is actually at Ravenhill so and is free in for season ticketholders so we can't bitch about that, but wonder how decimated the side will be with some on standby for Clermont etc.
Match v Leinster team below ubut some will be missing
Ulster
(15 - 9) P Nelson; C Cochrane, M Allen, C Farrell, C Gaston, J McKinney, P Marshall
(1 - 8) C Black, N Brady (c), A Macklin; T Barker, L Stevenson; N McComb, A Birch, R Diack
Replacements (16 - 23) N Annett, J Cronin, T Court, J Simpson, C Joyce, I Porter, S Olding, R Andrew
Marshall and Court certainly out also even if Andi K is on the bench in Clermont Nigel would probably travel, Black, Macklin, Stevenson also probably out and possibly Diack and Barker.
Side starts to look pretty lightweight when those are all removed. :(

Hope so. The bench certainly looks a lot lighter without him.

Looks like we'll see the majority of our team that played against Leinster VS. The Munster team that came here and played us on the 30th December

I don't think so and reckon at least 6 from that day won't be available, not a clue about the small turnips

Would hope that the likes of Luke Marshall and Paddy Jackson are involved in this game.

That team doesn't seem to have much experience about it, could be risky. IF there was a miracle and Diack played even marginally better than he did against Leinster I'd stick him at 8 and put McComb to 6.

Tim its the Ravens, there is a significant match the following day in France, what do you expect?

Just saying, Diack isn't going to be in the squad for the trip to France so why not give him another chance in the ravens? And there's no need to bring 3 hookers, bring 2 and play either Kyri/Brady

In other news, I'm watching a docu about the Alaskan salmon shark. It habitats in waters off Alaska. It eats salmon. And it's a shark.

Out of Interest does anybody think Danielli might get a go for this one? Try and get some gametime?

Thinking that myself. Fallen out of the main team, if he wants to stand any chance of playing for Scotland in the 6N he probably has to play. At least show he's match fit.

If he does he will probably be the only one over 23 in the side
