I think it's time to have the bear put down and get us a new mascot. Something befitting of European champions.

If we're talking about Bryan Young - then having to retire early is probably enough of a blow without the euthenasia. I don't know if he's going to the game, but if he needs a ticket, I'd be honoured if he would take one of mine.

If we're talking about Sparky - the jury is still out on the need for sodium pentobarbital, but I don't believe he could have an official role at this ERC run game. Whether or not he's in the crowd will probably depend on what shots he's had and Lansdowne Road's policy on 'dangerous' animals.

, he's a legend and should never be replaced.

They were painful to watch on Friday. As for Sparky, I thought he did us proud in his "fight" with the Leinster Lion. Sure he deserves his day out at lansdowne!
