Yes he did but I was rewinding the tape to count up all the mentions of Lewis not yet having scored his first try for Ulster .
But he was right about that wee boy sitting on the wet grass. Willie Anderson once told me that gave you piles.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

"I thought that was going over!" as one of Heatcote's efforts spiralled towards the corner flag was a good one.

In fairness to Gusher, there was a period of about 2/3 minutes straight after half time where I thought Michael Webb and the lads had managed to carry out a successful brain transplant on our Ian in the sheds at half time. Alas it wasn't to be and normal service was soon resumed. Image

Maybe he meant he was exceptionally competent in some areas of the pitch, for example most of the touches in the aforementioned 2/3 minutes were between his own 10 metre line and halfway? Outside that area, well, don't even go there!

He exceptionally competently entered and exited the field of play and did some text-book hand-shaking at the end there.

The kick-offs were competent but not exceptionally so.

I think The Gush made that statement after the one good touch-finder?
Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.
