Well, a reasonably good start and 3 points to the season IMO, so who was your MOTM?

Probably a bit of a no brainer today.

Yup, Fermain might as well have just posted the name and no poll.

Before everyone votes for Olding, he did have as error strewn a game as any. Missed pens to touch, missed tackles and threw a few dodgy passes mixed up with the dancing feet.
Franco had a great game, so did Rob Herring and Robbie Diack.

I didn't notice many missed tackles but his fluffed kicks were costly IMO.Snipe Watson wrote:Before everyone votes for Olding, he did have as error strewn a game as any. Missed pens to touch, missed tackles and threw a few dodgy passes mixed up with the dancing feet.

VDM probably gets my vote on balance.

Olding for me, but both locks played very well, as did RW generally. Herring I thought was a bit anonymous, although that may have been in comparison to Owens.

Van der Merwe did very little wrong, was very good in the line out and carried well. Gets my vote.

You attempting some Gerard Mandering? Lots of talk for Transit but damn few votes.Snipe Watson wrote:Before everyone votes for Olding, he did have as error strewn a game as any. Missed pens to touch, missed tackles and threw a few dodgy passes mixed up with the dancing feet.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Chad did a lot of unseen work

Franco for me, played a full 80 minutes, stole a couple of lineouts and scored on debut, an able replacement for Johann....Olding was also excellent considering how much rugby he missed, but my default position is always give it to a forward.

May have been a few errors but Olding looked a class act in attack and was dangerous every time he got the ball - gets my vote. Would like to see him tried at 13 with Luke at 12.
