Don't think anyone deserves it... But despite getting great mileage out of mccomish bashing, he played to his best tonight. Fair fecks to him.

When pretty much everything about the team is average, who do you give it to, the star, who's always going to be better than everyone else (Ruan), the double try scorer (Gilroy) or the guy who's usually not up to much but plays above himself and comes up to everybody else's level (Big Lewis). Despite getting stripped once, I thought he was in the action more positively than usual, so Stevenson gets my vote.

McCloskey, ran straight instead of kicking all the time shocker, maybe came on at the right time, but made yards and space, looked a different team when he came on.

Fleg has picked up Mike McComishs performance.
He was everywhere and completely unrecognisable from seasons past.
Thats 3 good shifts he has put in now from our problem 7 position.
Is he the real deal now?

Gilly deserved MOTM as he chased everything all match.

Edited that fleg had noticed him as well colin.
We both have rubbished Mike in the past but I thought he there was two of him at one point.
His supporting, clearing, tackling and his inside line speed in defence was excellent and if no one saw that I suggest you watch the game again and keep your eyes on him.
I am pleased for him as he is a top lad and played outhalf in a schools cup final for Campbell apparently.

McComish quietish compared to last two games. Lewis a target at the line-out, didn't do much else. Gilly played well. Restart MotM for me.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Craig worked his socks off rather than excelled in my opinion. Hard to pick a MOTM, but the front row were solid as a rock and the lineout was sound, so I go for Rob Herring.
Re: Who was your MOTM for ULSTER vs Treviso?
Gilroy or Wilson. Gilroy just gets my vote because of the occasion. A doff of the cap to Mike Allen as well.

In the words of Gerry Adams... "Doakball hasn't gone away you know...."

Doakie responded "I didn't do it and know nothing about it "Cornerfleg wrote:In the words of Gerry Adams... "Doakball hasn't gone away you know...."
“That made me feel very special and underlined to me that Ulster is more than a team, it is a community and a rugby family"
