Could be a potential source of conflict there. Wee Meghan is a supporter of animal rights and says no to fur, advertising animal products and opposes keeping wild animals in captivity. Given that, it would be strange if she was in favour of shooting them just for the crack like

I'm going for 18 months on the marriage breakup sweepstakes.

Any other takers?

Wee Harry wasn't allowed on the last boxing day hunt eithetmr. Apparently Meghan is a reader of Naom Chomsky. I'd suggest she re-read them while she's relaxing on those ivory seats in Windsor Castle. The Windsor's are a pack of kunts.

I think Harry has seen the light on the hunting front to be fair.

Just a shame that the father couldn’t be at the wedding.

Or Meg’s dad.

Poor 'arry wasn't allowed to slaughter anything this Xmas.

A lot of fox screaming last night. It's the mating season. Either that or a banshee.

Just to try to bring this back to the topic as I presume it was originally envisaged, (I know,it's not like me), I happened to spot a Greater Spotted Woodpecker when walking at Kiltonga just outside Newtownards, a couple of months ago. First time I had ever seen one live and in the flesh.

Apologies for the quality of the photo below (which is genuinely mine, taken at the time), but I didn't have an DSLR with me and used the Lumix compact I did have to hand. I was quite pleased with the result - not great, but acceptable for capturing something of this size at the very top of a tree about 50m away at the time.

Maybe not as colourful as a kingfisher as per Merv's original post, but it pleased me.

Nice one grumps. They're easier to hear than to spot
