New swear words for 2018

Post by big mervyn »

Never mind antibiotic resistance, we are rapidly running out of good swear words.

F*ck has totally lost it's impact, and 2017 has seen a spectacular desensitization to c*nt in the general populace.

Any suggestions? >#

Båstard too is old hat, indeed I recall my ould lad telling me decades back that you couldn’t help being a båstard but had to work at being a dastard.

The main problem is that dastard sounds far too acceptable so it requires some “decoration”, such as:

Bob Kearney is a dastardly cumbubble
Mike Brown is a dastardly fûckknuckle

As a kindly old lady who objected to us kicking fitba near her garden used to gulder “fûckawayoff round yer own door, ya wee shytes”. You see, you can work on a modern classic all your worth but you can’t bate a true classic.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

I remember Podge 'n' Rodge, gentlemen farmer brothers, used to have a chat show on RTE. They ran a competition to find Ireland's favourite swear word. Surprisingly 'Yer Hole' came out top. For those unfamiliar with Podge 'n' Rodge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSaDSfBp7fM

It does depend on where you emphasise the ferocity in dictation of the word F.U.C.K. In my opinion you should be frothing on the F.

Ppphhhhhssshhhffffffuckkk you say boi?

I th all context. emphasis and intent.
Can't beat use of the c word that quite believably made Ray Winston fear ghandi in the film Sexy Beast.
No caaaaaaaaants in there.
Alternative each delivery short aggressive and and to the point.
You can't beat it.
