His selection as captain for the A team last week hopefully indicates he has leadership qualities to boot.

Interesting to see Kernohan in his interview single Henry Speight out for praise. I recall Stockdale doing likewise early last season with Charles P and also mentioning Jared Payne as someone he was learning a lot from.

Speight has done ok on the pitch so far considering he arrived so late into pre-season, but if he is also having a good influence on some of the youngsters then he is doing a good job.

I would hope that the young lads aren't learning from Speight considering he's been poor both in defence and attack so far for us. Better paying attention to Gilroy.

You'll be thrilled to hear that Speight is not on the wing this week but Kernohan is.

If it didn't mean that Nelson was likely in the the team I would be! Speight has been all over the show and not in a good way.

You are right. There is nothing a guy with over 100 caps for the Brumbies and over 40 super rugby tries plus 19 Wallabies caps could teach someone like Kernohan. And obviously nothing he may do in training or say to a youngster would be of any use either.

And you could see how little Kernohan thought of Speight when he totally blanked him after the try.

I definitely heard in the after match interview that he thought Henry was a knob.
