Aye. Down there with a full strength team and give it a lash. Zero expectations; nothing to lose. Really looking forward to this actually.thecrouch wrote:Better than Clancy and Lacey.Joe Schmo wrote:I dunno Crouch, what if it's Garces?thecrouch wrote:Thank christ for that.UlsterNo9 wrote:I don't think you can have a referee from the same country as one of the teams on the pitch in Europe .thecrouch wrote:Much you want to bet we end up with Langer Lacey or Clanger Clancy with the whistle?
Anyway, feck the ref. Just get into this lot from the start. Tired of losing to mexicans. Have a rattle and see what happens.

Re: HC Quarter Final
You wouldn’t have been saying that if we had ended up away to Toulouse, given the quality of the stout over there (allegedly).thecrouch wrote:Sure and if nothing else it's a good excuse for a few stouts mervyn.big mervyn wrote: Aye. Tell you what. I'd sooner be hoaked by Leinster than Sarries or Racing Zebo.

Totally agree big mervyn. My mates and myself are just going for a days craic out and enjoy the game win or lose. After all its only a game and its not the end of the earth of we lose. The future is looking a lot more rosey than it did at the start of the season. Who would have expected to find us in a quarter final and rated us 6th seed. Very few I would say.
Re: HC Quarter Final
Wife's birthday and mother's day that weekend.

i dunno, is it on tv? Good thing is it costs a bit less to watch Ulster get hoaked by Leinster than by ToulouseDave wrote:When's the team announced?

I remember going down to Limerick a few years ago to get stuffed by Munster.

Re: HC Quarter Final
Really? I went down to Thomond with real belief that it was a 50:50 game. Ulster had a better starting xv and that Munster team was in the decline to balance against the Thomond factor.Gary wrote:I remember going down to Limerick a few years ago to get stuffed by Munster.
On a scale of being underdogs i don’t think the 2 compare. If Ulster were to win this would be off the scale in terms of an upset.
